our september wishlist
As the leaves begin to change and the warm temperatures start to come to a halt, we find ourselves craving that same sense of transformation as the environment around us. This is the perfect time to slowly transition your wardrobe, lifestyle, and wellness essentials. We recognize that when you look and feel your best, you do your best.
This is ultimately a guide to pieces we've been loving, beauty products we’re aiming to try and essentials we have been using all Summer.
Block Heel
We personally love the Zoey Block Heel for several reasons. They’re comfortable, versatile and go with just about everything. Their height (2”) makes them perfect to spend all-day in. You can dress this style of shoe up or down depending on where the day (or evening) takes you. They come in gold metallic and bronze but I find the gold pair specifically is effortless while also still being extremely playful due to the size and details of the crochet pattern. We recommend this shoe to everyone we know. An absolute must in our closet staples.
Eye Repair Oil
This has been at the top of our must-try list all summer long. This eye repair oil consists of: the purest Squalene, Rosemary Extract, Cucumber, Brown Seaweed Extract and Vitamin C Ester. What specifically drew me to this product was Glycelene’s base blend of Brown Seaweed and Squalene. Not many products on the market include both of these ingredients together and we absolutely swear by the incorporation of Squalene in our skincare routine. Both of these ingredients are harvested from France and known for their anti-inflammatory properties. Additionally, they also act as a DNA protectant. The stainless steel rollerball design is also a note-worthy detail as a majority of the time eye products are tube-based. We will definitely be trying this before the end of September.
Finishing Brush
As soon as this brush hit our screen, we knew we needed to try it. As avid slick back bun and ponytail advocates, we are constantly looking for products and tools to simplify the process. What stood out to us about the Denman D81M brush is the use of natural boar bristles. These bristles specifically are known for adding shine to hair through distribution of natural oils while gently detangling. As someone with naturally frizzy hair, we will definitely be trying this product.
Microfoliant
We absolutely cannot live without this product. Dermalogica’s Daily Microfoliant checks all of the boxes as someone who prioritizes gentle chemical exfoliation. We have extremely sensitive skin and this product is tried and true. We use this product on days where we don’t use retinol and have noticed that they pair perfectly when used in conjunction with each other. This product features Salicylic Acid, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Extract and Papain. The proof is in the results and will continue to be a staple in our skincare routine.

Satin Skirt
This skirt has been living rent-free in our minds for two full months now. It is so incredibly difficult to find a reliable, non-see through satin skirt and we think we may have concluded our search. It comes in multiple colorways and even a mini-version depending on your personal preference. What drew us to Aritizia’s version specifically is that it is cut from drapey Japanese double-faced satin and its creator’s impeccable attention to detail. We think we may just need to purchase it in multiple colors!
